Refund policy
Refunds depend on the storefront you buy from. Please pick the section that matches your purchase.
Purchases on this site? This site does not sell anything directly. Every "Buy" button takes you to Etsy or Gumroad, where the actual order, payment, and refund rules apply. We never see your payment information.
Gumroad purchases
Both paid Gumroad templates (First Client Ready Pack, Social Media Manager Client Kit) come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If the kit isn't right for you, email scrooge@sunnyengineer.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you, no questions asked. The free 16 Client Red Flags checklist is free; refunds don't apply.
Etsy purchases
All other templates are sold on Etsy. Etsy is digital-download, so returns and exchanges are not accepted. The only exception is if a file is missing or won't open: message us through Etsy and we'll fix it quickly, or refund you if we can't.
What we don't refund
- Change of mind after more than 14 days on Gumroad.
- Refunds simply because you decided the templates aren't a fit, on Etsy (the storefront doesn't process returns on digital items).
- Third-party file corruption (e.g., the customer's disk or PDF reader).
What happens if a file won't open
- Try the most-recent version of Word, Google Docs, Pages, LibreOffice, or Acrobat Reader.
- If the file still won't open, contact the storefront you bought from. We'll send a replacement or refund you.
- Please do not edit or alter the files before reporting a problem — it makes diagnosis harder.
Chargebacks
If you have an issue, please contact the storefront first. Most problems are fixable in one or two messages, and we're happy to help. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first slows down a resolution for both sides.
